I was watching the news this morning and I was deeply saddened by just how many people are losing their home because most families were not able to pay up their mortgages. The financial crisis is making it difficult for most homeowners to keep their house that is why I consider myself blessed that I don’t have to get through that because we already own our home. I consider my house my sanctuary, not just a place to sleep or rest but a place where I am living comfortably with the people I love, my mom and my brother. When I was in college I stayed in a dorm so that I could be near my university and concentrate more on my studies, I only go home every weekend and it always gives me delight to be home. There’s just no place like home and there’s no place I’ll ever be. I’ve been everywhere and every time I travel and stay in a hotel, I can only wish that I’ve got some homeowner insurance so that I can be secured that my home is safe wherever I am. Taking care of our house and giving it the insurance it deserves protects us and gives us peace of mind.
